How do you put
on a corset?
It is
easier to put on a corset if there is someone to assist you.
However, you can successfully put on a corset yourself using the
following instructions:
- Undue the busk at
the front and loosen the lacing at the back so there is a gap of
between 4 and 6 inches.
- Wrap the corset
around your body and fasten the front busk (fasten the top one
then the rest should follow easily)
- Reach around to
the back and gently pull the lacing loops, tightening the
corset.
- Progressively
tighten the laces from the top to the middle and from the bottom
to the middle until you are happy with the fit.
- Tie the ends into
a bow at the back of the corset.

How should I
clean my corset?
Wearing a top,
chemise or corset liner underneath your corset will ensure your
corset will last for longer periods of time before needing to be
cleaned, always air your corsets after use to keep them fresh.
When they do require cleaning, our corsets are Dry Clean Only,
as they contain steel bones and metal busks so could cause
rusting if washed.
How long will
it take for my custom corset to arrive?
Our made-to-measure
corsets will usually take between 4-6 weeks to be made and
dispatched. Please contact us if you are concerned about
delivery or if you have an urgent requirement.
